Alamo Mission Band

The Alamo Mission Band, featuring Joe Balestreri, draws on the Jerry Garcia Band's approach to American music — Americana and roots rock, blues, gospel, R&B, and reggae, all filtered through the JGB songbook. The band is a regular at Ashkenaz in Berkeley, including its Very Jerry celebrations, and has circulating audience recordings from those nights.
