Dead Band

Dead Band is a six-piece Grateful Dead tribute covering the greater Philadelphia region: Connor Basilici on lead guitar, Richard Page on rhythm, Peter Cattaneo on bass, Bruce Bernstein on keys, Marc Sugarman on drums and Autumn Walden on vocals, with nearly everyone singing. They describe themselves as students of the Dead chasing the improvisation and complexity of the originals rather than a costume act. Their calendar runs through Montgomery and Bucks County breweries — Crooked Eye in Hatboro, von C in Norristown, Troubles End in Collegeville — plus Kelly's Logan House in Wilmington and the Landis Theater in Vineland, New Jersey.
