Deadelijk

Deadelijk is a Milwaukee quintet — Joe Howard on drums, Rob Collier on bass, Nate Gray on keys, Tim Wright on guitar and Lodewijk Broekhuizen on guitar — that interprets Grateful Dead music and, in its own framing, revels in the improvisation the music invites. They are upfront that the cover-band field is crowded and pitch themselves on using the tunes as a vehicle for a shared trip rather than on fidelity. They play Pabst Theater Group rooms and Shank Hall in Milwaukee, Radio Milwaukee events, and range up the lakeshore to Sheboygan.
