DeadEye was founded in Austin in 2010 by Joe Faulhaber and Shadd Scott and has spent since then working through as much of the Grateful Dead catalog as it can hold. Shows are two long sets mixing deep cuts with the songs everyone came for, played with fresh energy rather than note-for-note recreation. They anchor Austin rooms like The Far Out Lounge and 3TEN at ACL Live and travel Texas, including Dan Electro's in Houston.
