Dirty Dead

Dirty Dead is a Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia Band tribute that played its first show in September 2016 in Asheville, North Carolina. They build fresh versions of the classic tunes, pulling in funk, reggae, hard rock, country and jazz flute, and lean hard on improvisation and an open, welcoming family vibe that regularly brings guest musicians onstage. They have played Soulshine Music Festival, Salvage Station, Highland Brewing, The One Stop and Ambrose West, and their current run of dates is centered on Wilmington rooms including Wilmington Distillery and Goat & Compass, where they also play as a duo.
