Easy Wind

Easy Wind is a Southern California Grateful Dead tribute band started in late 2015 by guitarist and vocalist Patrick Brown, built specifically around the band's 1970s configuration: two drummers, a keyboard player and a female vocalist covering the Donna Godchaux parts. They build setlists modeled on specific runs - Europe '72, the Wall of Sound tours of 1974, Spring 1977 - rather than drawing across the whole catalog. The current lineup is Brown, Domonic Estes on lead guitar, Chasen Pado on keys, David Isaac on bass, Frank Lazzaro and Danny Campbell on drums, and Rosy Dawn Selwitz on vocals. They work San Diego and Los Angeles rooms including the Belly Up in Solana Beach, the Centre at Lexus Escondido and Bar 10 at Corbin Bowl in Tarzana, and have played June Lake Jam Fest and Grateful Festival in Flagstaff.
