The Foolish Heart Band is a Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia tribute jam band that blends rock, blues, jazz, acoustic playing and Americana. They put improvisation ahead of arrangement, describing their approach as letting the music play the band rather than reproducing rehearsed versions. They work the Delaware Valley and the Jersey shore — Legends Bar & Grill in Boothwyn, Pennsylvania, the Weedstock Music and Arts Festival in Houston, Delaware, and the Elks in Brigantine, New Jersey.
