Graciously Departed

Graciously Departed has been playing the music of the Grateful Dead around Greater Lafayette, Indiana since 2015, when a group of local musicians assembled the act for a festival during the Dead's fiftieth-anniversary summer. Sets draw on both the Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia Band catalogs and reach back to 1950s rock and roll, all delivered with the improvisation the source material invites. They work theaters, breweries and festivals across Indiana, including the Long Center in Lafayette, Fountain Square Brew Co. and the Mousetrap in Indianapolis.
