Gratefolk

Gratefolk is a Philadelphia deadgrass group formed in 2013, built around Stephe Ferraro on field drum, Michael Sanfosso on guitar, Larry Fornaci on bass, Raiden James on guitar and Matt Gordon on dobro. They work a hefty songlist with old-timey arrangements, sweet vocals and a kind, timeless energy rather than electric jamming. The band holds a monthly residency at the Mermaid Inn in Chestnut Hill and plays a regular last-Thursday date at Twisted Gingers in Ambler, alongside area benefits like Jam for Good in Dresher.
