Grateful Dave

Grateful Dave is a singer-guitarist based in Island Heights, New Jersey who began playing live shows down the Jersey Shore in late 2024, mostly solo acoustic with occasional full-band electric dates billed as The Grateful Dave Band. By his own site he writes and plays original music channeling the Grateful Dead, Phish and Pink Floyd rather than performing as a straight Dead tribute, though Jersey listing sites file him under Grateful Dead tributes. He has released two albums, 'Grateful Dave' (2025) and 'Grateful Dave II' (2026), and hosts seasonal Harvest Festivals at Toms River Brewing with a shakedown-style artisan market and food trucks. His regular rooms are Ocean and Monmouth County: Toms River Brewing and Battle River Brewing in Toms River, Coastal Canteen in Manasquan, plus Asbury Park stops. His surname is not published on his own site or socials.
