Grateful Gals

Grateful Gals is fronted by Katie Gearty, Tristana Ward and Steph Devine, three Twin Cities vocalists who split and stack the leads across the Grateful Dead catalog, backed by Chad Whittaker, Kevin Dorsey, Max Krauth, Demetri Rallis and Greg Schutte. The pitch is a fresh voice on familiar material: faithful musicianship and the Dead's improvisational spirit, delivered with three-part harmony and a distinctly feminine front line. They play Minneapolis rooms including Day Block Brewing and Crooners Supper Club, and have stepped up to the Fitzgerald Theater.
