JGBCB

JGBCB, short for Jerry Garcia Band Cover Band, came together in Athens, Georgia for a single show in December 2012 and kept going after the local Deadhead turnout demanded it. Jonathan Brill handles guitar and most lead vocals, with Logan Wallis on keys, Ryan Kijanka on bass and Jay Hoots on drums; the players come out of jam, funk, reggae and bluegrass bands of their own. They stick strictly to the Jerry Garcia Band book rather than the Dead's, mixing JGB staples with deep cuts so the set changes night to night, and have played from Key West to Colorado.
