Shakedown Strings

Shakedown Strings is a Kansas City, Missouri trio: Adam Galblum on vocals and violin, Clayton DeLong on vocals and acoustic guitar, and Rick Willoughby on vocals and upright bass. All three come out of jazz, and they bring that improvisational footing to the Grateful Dead's repertoire rather than recreating the arrangements. They are regulars at Knuckleheads and Mike Kelly's Westsider in Kansas City and range out to Wichita, St. Louis and Ames, and once packed the house for a Billy Strings after-party.
