Touch of Grey

Touch of Grey is Matt Wilber on vocals, John 'Iowa' Scherle on guitar, DaVal Johnson on keys, Sandy Steckman on bass and Josh Mason on drums, out of Omaha. Wilber and Scherle started the band out of the Carson, Iowa area and it has settled into a mix of Grateful Dead and adjacent classic rock, billed as 'only mostly Dead.' They play bars and festivals across western Iowa and eastern Nebraska, including the Depot in Shenandoah, Byron's Bar in Pomeroy and Red Oak Summer Jams, and have performed the Dead catalog with the Council Bluffs Symphony Orchestra.
