Trouble Ahead

Trouble Ahead is a five-piece North Jersey Grateful Dead band whose members - George Carnevale, Paul Crane, Derek Martin, Samuel Mann and Ron Pasquarelli - met, per the South Orange Performing Arts Center, 'when answering the call for Dead Heads' at The Meat Locker, the long-running Montclair club. SOPAC's own description is that the band performs Grateful Dead music of all eras and 'intersperses their covers and tributes to the legendary Rock band with their own improvisations and vocal harmonies.' They played Flood's Hill in South Orange's Meadowland Park as part of the free South Orange Summer Nights series, and they turn up on North Jersey listings at the Cypress Tavern in Kinnelon. Instruments are not broken out in any source, and the band has no website - only a Facebook page.
