Webster

Webster is an Atlanta jam band formed in 2005 by guitarists Bill Chanler and Byron Alterman, rounded out by Roger Krystopa on bass, Diane Rabson on keys and Jay Smith on drums. They are not a straight tribute: Grateful Dead and Neil Young sit alongside Dylan, Marley, Tom Petty, the Stones and Prince in their sets. The band plays 15 to 20 gigs a year around Atlanta, is a fixture at the Lake Claire Community Land Trust including its Jerry Jam fall festival, and has opened Saturdays at the Candler Park Music Festival since the event began.
