Terrapin Family Band
San Rafael, CA
The Terrapin Family Band was the house band at Phil Lesh's Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael, and after the venue closed the Lesh family carried it forward as the Terrapin Roadshow — a traveling series that comes home to Marin each summer for a run at Forest Meadows Amphitheatre. The core is Grahame Lesh, Alex Koford, Ross James, and Jason Crosby, and the shows are built around guests: Nicki and Tim Bluhm, Barry Sless, Stu Allen, Reed Mathis, Greg Loiacono, and Melvin Seals have all rotated through recent bills.
