Deadgrass
Montclair, NJ · since 2015
Deadgrass was formed by Matt Turk and C Lanzbom, with Dave Richards on bass, Kris Bauman on banjo, and Kensuke Shoji on fiddle, as a jamgrass exploration of everything Jerry Garcia touched: Old & In the Way, the Jerry Garcia Band, his jug-band days, and the Dead. The fall takes them from The Bitter End in the Village to Vermont, the Berkshires, a two-show Halloween at Caffe Lena, Bearsville Theater, and Virginia after Christmas.
