Aardvark
since 2011
Aardvark has kept the same core since 2011 — Jon "Skippy" Sherred on bass, Robert Parker on drums, Ben Hollin on keys, Greg Gavalakis, Matt Lazarus, and Bob Finkel on guitars, and Paul Stevens on percussion — and the band says the consistent lineup and persistent rehearsing are the point: authentic renditions of the Grateful Dead material. They play several times a month around the Peninsula and Santa Cruz, with Winters Tavern, Apple Jack's in La Honda, and the Crepe Place among the regular rooms.
