Sam Grisman Project
Sam Grisman grew up around the music his father David Grisman made with Jerry Garcia, and the Sam Grisman Project puts that acoustic side of the Garcia story on stage — the Garcia/Grisman duets, Old & In the Way, and the bluegrass and old-time tunes Garcia kept coming back to. It is Dead-adjacent rather than a Dead tribute, and a listening-room set rather than a dance party.
