Sam Grisman Project
Sam Grisman grew up around the music his father David Grisman made with Jerry Garcia, and the Sam Grisman Project puts that acoustic side of the Garcia story on stage — the Garcia/Grisman duets, Old & In the Way, and the bluegrass and old-time tunes Garcia kept coming back to. It is Dead-adjacent rather than a Dead tribute, and a listening-room set rather than a dance party.

Underground concert hall inside Big Mouth Cave at the foot of the Cumberland Plateau, holding about 850 seated or 1,200 standing, plus a 6,000-capacity outdoor amphitheater and on-site camping. CaveFest is the venue's own multi-day fall festival.
