About the band
Sam Grisman Project
Sam Grisman grew up around the music his father David Grisman made with Jerry Garcia, and the Sam Grisman Project puts that acoustic side of the Garcia story on stage — the Garcia/Grisman duets, Old & In the Way, and the bluegrass and old-time tunes Garcia kept coming back to. It is Dead-adjacent rather than a Dead tribute, and a listening-room set rather than a dance party.

Basement-level concert hall in Cincinnati's Clifton Gaslight district, on the site of the legendary 1969-71 rock club of the same name (which hosted the Allman Brothers, among others), reopened in 2015. About 500 seats for reserved shows, with a restaurant upstairs.
