About the band
Rob Glassman Band
New Haven, CT
Rob Glassman has played Connecticut and beyond for more than twenty years, and his band — nominated for a 2023 New England Music Award and singled out by Connecticut press for its Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia Band repertoire — runs songs into each other with long improvised passages. Glassman also co-founded Music Never Stopped with Scott Guberman in 2014, and hosts Deadville, the Grateful Dead night at The Bitter End in Greenwich Village on the last Tuesday of the month. The band plays full, acoustic-duo, and trio forms across Connecticut's breweries, fairs, and town greens.
