About the band
Dead Man's Waltz
Dead Man's Waltz is an all-star collective out of the Northeast festival scene — “Rev” Tor Krautter and Wesley Childers on guitars and vocals, Parker McQueeney on keys and vocals, Brian O'Connell on bass and vocals, and Tom Major and Jeff Prescott on drums — braiding the songs and jams of the Grateful Dead, the Allman Brothers Band, and The Band into a single set. The crossover is the point: they trace the tradition that peaked at Watkins Glen in 1973, sliding “Jessica” into “Going Down the Road Feeling Bad” and back out. The Shea Theater in Turners Falls and the Stationery Factory in Dalton both have them in November 2026.
