Deal is a Grateful Dead tribute based in Allentown, Pennsylvania, listed in the Lehigh Valley and billed as playing in and beyond the Lehigh Valley and into New Jersey. They play the full Dead catalog — psychedelic rock, folk, blues and jam material — with an emphasis on the improvisational shape of a Dead show rather than note-for-note recreation, and they also work as a stripped-down Deal Trio for smaller rooms. Their circuit is almost entirely Pennsylvania brewery and taproom gigs: HiJinx Brewing in Tatamy, Freewill Brewing in Perkasie, Rising River Brewing in Macungie, The East End in Hatfield, The Gem in Spring City and the Live at the Falls series in Easton, with occasional North Jersey dates at Chilton Mill Brewing in Long Valley.
