Manitou Truckin' Company is a Grateful Dead tribute band working out of Traverse City in northern Michigan. It is an unusually large group, reported to feature Fred Stig-Nielsen and Frank Wyzywany on dual lead guitars, Andrew Newbold on lead and rhythm guitar, Nathon Lane on guitar, Bill Frary on drums, Jason Barnard and Bee Jay Reffitt as twin bassists, and Emerson Reffitt on keys. They play farms, cider houses and theaters around the Grand Traverse region, including Jacob's Farm and the Garden Theater in Frankfort, and have turned up at the Truckin' into Hoxey festival.
